Day 1 - travelling

I'm at the airport and have decided to treat myself to some breakfast - a sausage sandwich. I wouldn't normally but not sure how I'm going to find the food in Myanmar so making the most of it :-) also going to take my first malaria tablet - here goes ......

Flight goes at 9:05am, I hope I spot some fellow travellers soon! The airport is very quiet this time in the morning which is rather nice.

Singapore airlines are fantastic ! Great plane, great food, great entertainment system, lovely staff. All fairly relaxed and the 12.5 hours didn't seem that long. I didn't get much sleep so will crash later. After two flights I'm finally in Myanmar and sharing a room with a lady called Helen.
